'The Talk' Returns To New York City The Week of December 7

The Talk returns to New York on December 7. The Talk is unwrapping its annual holiday trip to New York City, with all-new episodes beginning Monday, December 7 through Friday, December 11. Celebrating with a star-studded week of seasonal-themed episodes, hosts Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood will shoot on location at the CBS Broadcast Center. Celebrity guests scheduled to visit The Talk include Downton Abbey stars Hugh Bonneville and Elizabeth McGovern, Emmy Award-winning Wayne Brady ( Let's Make a Deal ), multi-platinum recording artist Josh Groban, Jake McDorman ( Limitless ); Jeffrey Dean Morgan ( The Good Wife ); rock legend Patty Smyth, lifestyle maven Martha Stewart, and multiple Grammy Award winner Trisha Yearwood. Ratings: 'The Young and the Restless' and 'The Bold and the Beautiful' Surge in Ratings!

CBS’s daytime dramas – THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS and THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL – posted their best week of the season in both viewers and key women demographics, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Nov. 15. THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS averaged 5.02m, up +3% from last week and its largest weekly audience since the week ending April 10. In key women demographics, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS averaged 1.9/12 in women 25-54, up +6% from a week ago and best since the week ending July 24 and 1.3/09 in women 18-49, up +8% and best since the week ending July 31. THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL averaged 3.70m, up +5% from last week and its largest weekly audience since the week ending Aug. 14. Among women 25-54, the daytime drama averaged 1.5/09, up +7% and 1.0/07 in women 18-49, up +11%, highest in both demos since the week ending July 24. THE PRICE IS RIGHT 1 averaged 5.07m, its largest average weekly audience since the week ending April 10.

Donnell Turner Joins 'General Hospital' as Curtis

Donnell Turner has been cast in the contract role of Curtis on General Hospital . Soap Opera Digest reports that Curtis will prove to be a valuable resource for a scheming Hayden (Rebecca Budig). Look for Turner to first air on November 30. Turner has previously played a doctor on both Days of our Lives and The Young and the Restless .

'Days of our Lives' Delivers Most-Watched Week Since February 2014

DAYS OF OUR LIVES has once again delivered its most-watched week in 20 months, averaging 2.806 million viewers for the daytime ratings week of Nov. 9-13, making it the most-watched week for "Days" since Feb. 17-21, 2014 (2.836 million). DAYS which reached the 50th anniversary of its 1965 series premiere on Nov. 8, has now generated week-to-week gains for the last three weeks in a row in total viewers, as well as women 18-49 and women 18-34. For the week of Nov. 9-13, Days of our Lives (0.89 rating, 6 share among women 18-49, 0.53 rating among women 18-34) tied for #3 among network daytime series in the women 18-49 demographic, ranked #6 in the women 18-34 race and finished #9 in total viewers, according to "live plus same day" viewing data from Nielsen Media Research.
