Cleveland Abduction premieres May 2 on Lifetime. Cleveland Abduction premieres Saturday, May 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Lifetime. The film explores the true story of Michelle Knight, a 21-year-old single mom whose life was irrevocably changed by a chance encounter with an unsuspected criminal. SAG Award winner Taryn Manning ( Orange Is the New Black , Hustle & Flow , 8 Mile ) stars as Michelle Knight and SAG and Indie Series Award nominee Raymond Cruz ( Breaking Bad , Major Crimes ) portrays Ariel Castro. On August 22, 2002, Knight was abducted by Castro (Cruz) in Cleveland and held captive in his home for more than 11 years. Finding strength through her belief in God and determined to be reunited with her son, Knight refused to be broken by the twisted Castro. Angela Bassett Golden Globe winner Angela Bassett is the latest American Horror Story veteran to return for AHS: Hotel , the fifth installment of Ryan Murphy's horror anthology series. Bassett joins fellow AHS alum Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Wes Bentley, Chloë Sevigny and Matt Bomer in the cast of Hotel, along with Lady Gaga and Cheyenne Jackson. Bassett most recently starred as "Desiree Dupree" in the recently completed AHS: Freak Show and previously as "Marie Laveau" in AHS: Coven , a role that earned her a Primetime Emmy Award nomination in 2014. She is currently in production on the feature films Survivor and London Has Fallen . Production of the 13-episode Hotel will begin in Los Angeles in late summer, and will air on FX in October. The American Horror Story franchise is produced by Twentieth Century Fox Television.
