One week ahead of its spring finale, The Fosters rose to season highs across Adults 18-34 (508,000/0.7 rating), Women 18-34 (460,000/1.4 rating), Adults 18-49 (728,000/0.6 rating), Women 18-49 (619,000/1.0 rating), Viewers 12-34 (756,000/0.8 rating) and Females 12-34 (678,000/1.5 rating), and its #2 telecast of the season in Total Viewers (1.3 million), surging by double digits week to week across all demos. CBS Introduces Data-Driven Approach for Analyzing and Buying TV Time

CBS today introduced a new data-driven approach for analyzing and buying time on broadcast television called “Campaign Performance Audit,” or CPA. This new approach, which CBS has been testing with select advertisers since last fall, is now available to all CBS clients looking to add performance-based metrics to maximize their network television spend and enhance their return on investment. Through CPA, CBS will provide advertisers with a formalized roadmap utilizing a growing range of analytics provided by CBS and Nielsen. For key clients, this includes access to CBS’s state-of-the-art research facility, Television City, where advertisers can test the effectiveness of messages to ensure their ads resonate with the brand’s target audience. In addition, CPA employs a full complement of Nielsen analytics, including Nielsen Catalina Solutions, Nielsen Buyer Insights, Nielsen MotorStats, Nielsen MRI Fusion, Nielsen Brand Effects and Nielsen Cambridge Media Demand Landscape.

Cablevision and HBO Announce Agreement to Provide HBO NOW via Optimum Online

Cablevision and Home Box Office (HBO) announced today that they have reached an agreement to offer standalone streaming service HBO NOW to Optimum Online customers via the internet. Optimum is the first cable provider to partner with HBO to offer the new service, which is expected to launch in April in time for the fifth season of Game of Thrones. Kristin Dolan, Cablevision chief operating officer said: "As New York's premier connectivity company, we are enabling Optimum Online customers to enjoy content in any way they choose to receive it. We are well-positioned to support HBO NOW and, as technology advances, Cablevision will continue to meet the evolving needs of our customers."
