Robb Derringer Joins the Cast of 'Days of our Lives' as Scooter Nelson

A report in people announcing Rob Derringer's engagement to Carrie Ann Inaba, reveals that the General Hospital vet (Ex-Kyle) will be appearing on Days of our Lives next year.

Derringer's IMDB profile confirms that he has been cast as Scooter Nelson, and will first air March 30.

When the casting call for Scooter went out earlier this year, the character was described as a handsome, eccentric, elitist math professor with a sex addiction.

On September 29, Derringer tweeted, "Othello & Cassio together again! Had a wonderful reunion today w/ A Martinez one of the most talented & true hearted people in the business."
