The latest issue of Soap Opera Digest is reporting that The Young and the Restless has put out a casting call for a new role.
The soap is looking for an Indian/South Asian actor in his mid-to-late-20s to play Ravi, a super-intelligent creative engineer who is an "attractive nerd" and isn't so smooth when it comes to the ladies.
The role is recurring and is slated to begin taping this week.
