Spoiler For Today's 'Days of our lives' Episode

Chase and Ciara 

On Wednesday's episode of Days of our Lives, Chase Jennings (Jonathon McClendon) raped Ciara Brady (Vivian Jovanni) in a shocking plot twist that came out of left field.

Although Chase has been troubled since discovering that his father Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) attempted to murder Ciara's mother Hope (Kristian Alfonso), there hasn't been anything in story to suggest that he would rape the girl he has developed a crush on.

Will Ciara's rape and the aftermath of this serious crime be handled properly? Only time will tell.
