Hallmark Channel Original Movie A Christmas Melody premieres Saturday, December 19 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The holiday film stars Mariah Carey (who also makes her directorial debut), Lacey Chabert, Brennan Elliott, Kathy Najimy and 10-year-old Broadway sensation Fina Strazza.

A Christmas Melody revolves around Kristin (Chabert), a beautiful, stylish divorcee who is a talented clothing designer and her young daughter. Kristin has just had to close her small Manhattan boutique to return to her Ohio home town and live in her parents' former home. It's an adjustment for Kristin and Emily - especially when she runs into her former high school rival Melissa (Carey).

The cast includes William Willet, Tifani Ahren Davis, Jim Gloyd, Lon Nease, William Cross and Alexa Glaser.

"Jingle Bells," from Days of our Lives star Jen Lilley's new Christmas album, "Tinsel Time," will be featured in the film.

A Christmas Melody is part of Hallmark Channel's "Countdown to Christmas" programming event.
