Emmy-winning actress Gina Tognoni will make her first appearance on The Young and the Restless as the new Phyllis on Monday, August 11.Phyllis has been in a coma since last summer so it will be interesting to see how she adjusts to life back in Genoa City, especially since Jack (Peter Bergman) has started moving on with Kelly (Cady McClain). And what will this mean for Sharon (Sharon Case)?
Tognoni is best known for two playing two soap opera roles--Dinah Marler on Guiding Light and Kelly Cramer in One Life to Live.
Phyllis was previously played by Emmy winner Michelle Stafford, who has found new life at General Hospital where she plays Nina Clay.
